Chalk The Walk

Escaping into the pages of a fairytale came one step closer to being a reality at Herriman High School on Oct. 16 when 34 art students, working with chalk, brought the Brothers’ Grimm stories to life. The students were divided into 17 groups and spent the school day working on their projects. Adviser Janet Fotu said of the experience, “I learned how grueling it is chalking out art on concrete for just three hours. I’m still limping. These kids did it for seven hours straight.”
