Dedication of Blackridge Elementary

Boy Scouts from the Summit Ridge Troop hold a flag ceremony for an audience gathered for the dedication of Blackridge Elementary in Herriman on Oct. 7. “It’s an amazing facility filled with wonderful people. Normally, dedications happen in the spring, but we wanted to invite all the neighbors who put up with the dust, lights and noise to be here. We had about 500 people in attendance, and our students were there to sing,” Principal Steve Giles said.
