Own the Night Trivia. Throughout the month of June pick up an “Own the Night” trivia sheet at the Herriman Library. Return completed forms to the information desk and get a sweet treat as well as be entered into a drawing for a $10 iTunes gift card.
June 7, 3 p.m.Teens
Frankentoy Lab. Come to the library to play mad scientist! Create your own unique Frankentoy using old and broken toys. Bring toys from home or use ours. All other supplies will be provided. Prizes will be awarded for most original creations.

Paranormal: Researching and Investigating the Unknown. Do you have an interest in the paranormal? Are you curious about the unexplained? Ever wonder why things go bump in the night? Join us as we explore paranormal research and learn about the theories, equipment and evidence in this exciting field.

Anything Can Happen: Harold and the Purple Crayon. Adventure with Harold through Crockett Johnson's classic story. Begin the walk through the moonlight, encounter the dragon, voyage across the ocean and finally find Harold's bed. Classical music selections and activities including bubbles, parachute and movement highlight this adventure.

Teen Advisory Board. We need motivated, ambitious and service-minded teens to join our teen advisory board. You can help at teen library programs, suggest programming ideas, meet new friends and earn volunteer hours.

Zumba for Kids. Join certified ZumbAtomic instructor, Anna, for a Latin-based fitness dance class. Zumba is a fun way to dance and also get some exercise!

Music and Movement. Come join us for a half hour of music and movement. Be prepared to be active in this fun and simple program. Children must be accompanied by an adult. No tickets required.

Own the Night Teen Movie Night. Kick off summer with a teen-only movie night. Sherlock Holmes has always been the smartest man in the room . . . until now. There is a new criminal mastermind at large—Professor Moriarty—and not only is he Holmes' intellectual equal, but his capacity for evil, coupled with a complete lack of conscience, may actually give him an advantage over the renowned detective. We'll have snacks too. No permission slip needed.
