Four new Eagle Scouts

142 days ago255 views

Congratulations to the following boys, who are from the Highland 1st ward, in South Jordan.

Dallen Burch earned his Eagle by having a Christmas in July for The Road Home homeless shelter.

Conlee Guy earned his Eagle by helping out the Humane Society. With the help of his neighbors and family, he collected recycled newspapers to keep the animal cages clean. Conlee also built donation boxes to help collect money for the Humane Society. The boxes are taken, along with the animals, to various sites, where the animals are hoping to be adopted.

Zachary Arveseth earned his Eagle by making 182 activity kits for patients and their siblings staying at Primary Children’s Hospital.

Gavin Madsen earned his Eagle by putting together 150 fleece and flannel blankets for patients at Primary Children’s Hospital.

All the boys and their parents are extremely grateful to all of their hard-working scout leaders, neighbors, friends, and family members for all the time and effort, and encouragement they gave in their behalf.
