The Utah Fusion’s Senior Level 5 team ‘Infernoâ€ will represent the U.S. at Cheerleading World
Utah Fusion founder Emily Morgan said the squad – ranging in age from 12 to 18 – is one of only three Utah teams that has ever been invited to this event. Riverton’s Kylie Wilcox and Sarah Rindlisbacher, South Jordan’s Shaye Gregory and area dancers Olivia Allen, Desi Anderson, Allie Carlile, Miranda Francis, Courtney Gay, BayLee Harper, TayLor Harper, Adlyn Iwuh, Meghan Magalogo, Kylie Merrill, Olivia Moger, Kenzie Nordquist, Sarah Rindlisbacher, Belle Silverster, Savanah Vigil, Sammie Walters, Natalee Warner, Sierra Wettstein, Kylie Wilcox make up the 23-member team. Fusion’s All-Stars’ team, “Blaze” will compete at The Summit National Championship May 4-5 in Orlando, Fla. “We are thrilled to be invited to such an amazing event,” Morgan said. “This is a highly competitive event. Less than 10 percent of teams throughout the country are invited to participate.” The 9-14-year-old team consists of Rindlisbacher, Wilcox, Herriman’s Bella Artchuleta, South Jordan’s Kayla Miller, Brinley Myers and Brooklyn Myers. Other area dancers on the 26-member squad include Allen, Francis, BayLee Harper, Iwuh, Moger, Nordquist and Wettstein along with Terah Beckstead, Ashton Burdette, Kiana Dalpiaz, Chayne Delacasas, Emma Hainey, Kaitlyn McKay, Rachel Opfar, Kaylee Overby, Savannah Packer, Anna Russom, Taybree Tanner, Carlee Wade and Sammie Walters.
