Towne Storage offers a variety of self-storage unit sizes ranging from 5 feet by 5 feet to 10 feet by 30 feet. All the units are easily accessible, completely sealed and climate controlled. Burke says that's not common with every self-storage facility. These features keep your belonging clean and well preserved, especially if you have wood furniture. In addition, customers like these features because it's more comfortable when they need to get to their belongings.

"The number one thing is our units are sealed meaning there is no dust and debris," he says. "Customers don't have to worry about changing into grubby clothes to get into their unit when they're moving stuff or looking for something."

Towne Storage also has all the bells and whistles of a modern secure self-storage facility. Each unit is equipped with its own alarm system and customers have to use their individual code to access both the facility and their unit. A manager lives onsite and is vigilant in patrolling and conducting regular lock checks to deter theft. Modern low light digital video surveillance is also throughout the facility and can pick up license plates even at night. Above all, Burke says the facility's cylinder locks ensure their customer's unit is secure.

"No one else in the state uses this style of lock," he says. "It's flush with the door so it can't be bumped like deadbolt locks can or cut off with bolt cutters. A thief will think twice and leave."

In addition to security, Town Storage maintains its properties very well. During the winter, customers will find the snow removed in the driveways and in front of loading areas. Management also watches for debris on loading areas to ensure nails and screws won't flatten tires. They also hire exterminators to free the facility from insects and rodents.

Towne Storage strives to make the moving process as easy as possible. Customers can call or go online to reserve a unit and rent Uhaul trucks or trailers. They carry a full range of packing supplies, boxes, tape and packing peanuts. The facility also provides carts and dollies for onsite moving at no charge. Office hours are Mon. through Fri. 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sat. 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
